Started working in the area and was searching for something for lunch. I stumbled across Blue Sparrow and couldn’t be more grateful for fate. I’m now a regular to the point that the team know my order: Smashed Avo w/ bacon - do yourself a favour! As someone who gets a smashed avo wherever I come across it, I rate this as one of the best I’ve ever had. Great food, great coffee, and great people. What more do you need?

We recently visited @blue_sparrow_hawthorn_east, located conveniently in HomeCo. Hawthorn East. You'll spot them on your right as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere is cozy and bright, and their menu is quite unique. They specialize in artisan Neapolitan pizzetta, which adds a delightful twist to their offerings. This was my very first time having a big breakfast on a 9-inch Neapolitan dough—how unique! I believe they are the only ones in Melbourne serving this (at least, I haven't come across it elsewhere). It was so filling that I couldn't finish it and had to take some home. Featured: BS Big Breakfast Chorizo Omelet Sport Protein Latte The Chorizo Omelette is beautifully plated and loaded with chorizo, scrambled eggs, Italian pizzetta sauce, and mozzarella cheese on sourdough We were too full to even try their dessert. This cafe offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options. Do stop by when you're in the mall next.

Just had brunch at this new dog-friendly cafe in Camberwell that has plenty of space. Great food and drinks with plenty of selection. In a no fuss atmosphere, and with a cute resident dog Rosie around. The coffee was excellent, venue was cosy. The blue piano is instagram worthy. The service is impeccable, staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommended to being a great spot for catch ups or by yourself with a good book or your own dog. They also sell a variety of plants with promotional discount for customers. I will definitely be a regular in this cafe.

A real jam corner for delicious coffee lovers and excellent food, tailored with great attention to details. Whether alone or with kids , this is the perfect station to enjoy cozy entourage and proper coffee. I highly recommend it, and parking free is a bonus in busy day.

I was drawn to the cafe because of all the cute and beautiful indoor plant and the interior. There are a lot of specialty coffee available as well if you are up for something other than the usual latte. The rolls were very impressive, they are very fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, definitely going to order it again next time. The backyard outdoor sitting was very nice with cute plants surrounding you. The staff and owner/ manager were all very friendly and helpful, it was a lovely experience.

I was served at 1 o’clock on a Sunday by a wonderful server named Kenrick. His attention to detail and precision in serving my food was outstanding. On top of that, he went above and beyond to make sure I felt truly valued as a customer, providing an exceptional level of service that exceeded my expectations. He was a down for a chat and defiantly loves his job. Kenrick turned an ordinary meal into a memorable experience highly recommend im coming back! P.S He then helped me into the back and gave me the extra customer service.

Lovely experience at Blue Sparrow Coffee. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was served hot and full of flavour. A beautiful café with excellent service.
